With a proven track record of service in various Nigerian hospitals, she brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her role as Medical Director of Mevana.

In the course of her career, she has served as a medical practitioner in several reputable Nigerian hospitals including:  St. Leos Medical Centre, Ikeja, Lagos; University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu and Nulife Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos. Her extensive experience in different healthcare settings has equipped her with a broad perspective and a deep understanding of interventions that improve maternal health outcomes.

Dr. Abana envisions a future where every woman can access quality maternal healthcare services. She continues to work tirelessly to make this vision a reality through her leadership at Mevana.

Dr. Abana earned her medical degree from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria.
