Chinedu Anarado

Chinedu Anarado has spent the last 15 years in international development. He has worked in program and project management as well as development communications, knowledge management, policy advocacy, stakeholder management, public and media relations. He is a founding director of Data Tier Limited a bespoke platform providing technology to support grant-making, tracking and implementation.
His most recent role includes leading the healthcare delivery systems portfolio at eHealth Africa, where he co-led the team to secure $20m in funding to drive the roll out of malaria vaccines in five countries in Africa. He has also led various initiatives in disease surveillance, notably leading the roll out of the Auto-Visual AFP Detection and Response (AVADAR) program in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and managed implementation and close-out in eight other countries in Africa. Chinedu also supported public health authorities in Kano and Kebbi state to design a dashboard that leverages their weekly surveillance data to improve the sensitivity of their surveillance systems.
Prior to this role, he worked at the British Council where he supported the implementation of Nigeria’s first ever conflict management and peace building programme. Chinedu has consulted for the African Development Bank Group, the British Council, the Federal Government of Nigeria, Save the Children etc. He holds a Master’s degree in Media and Communications from the Pan-Atlantic University Lagos, a certificate in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington. He’s a PRINCE2 certified project manager, a WHO-certified Infodemic Manager and 2019 Fellow of the Bucerius Summer School on Global Governance Hamburg, Germany.
